Meet Steph – Owner & Lead Coordinator for your On The Day Co‑Ordination

Steph is the heart behind the On The Day Co‑Ordination, bringing creativity, calm, and exceptional organisation to your wedding day. With an impressive 132 weddings coordinated since 2018 (plus over 1,000 styled), she has built a reputation for professionalism, problem‑solving, and a genuine passion for making each celebration run seamlessly.


With many years of hands‑on experience, Steph has seen just about everything a wedding day can throw her way—and she handles it all with confidence, kindness, and a smile. Her expertise means you can relax, knowing your day is in safe and capable hands.


What to Expect on Your Wedding Day

The role typically runs from 12 noon until 8pm, covering the key moments that matter most. This includes:

  • Supplier arrivals
  • Ceremony support
  • Arrival drinks or cocktail hour
  • Photo coordination
  • Meal timings
  • Speeches
  • Room turnaround (if needed)
  • Cake cutting
  • First dance
  • Evening food
  • And all the little in‑between moments that keep the day flowing smoothly

She’s wonderfully flexible, too—once she understands your priorities and the reasons you’ve booked her, she’ll tailor her approach to ensure everything unfolds exactly as you envisioned. The timings required can fluctuate also!


Co Ordination Process

Steph believes that no matter how carefully planned or what your budget may be, every wedding is unique, personal and completely one‑of‑a‑kind.


There are generally two types of On the Day Co‑ordination you may need:


1. Dry‑Hire Wedding Venues

This includes marquees, barns (such as Bake Barn in Salisbury) or social clubs. In this scenario, having a dedicated Wedding Co‑ordinator is absolutely essential. They are the person who handles any venue or supplier issues and ensures everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Relying on a family member or bridal party simply isn’t fair—they should be enjoying the day with you, not troubleshooting. You need someone confident enough to make quick decisions on your behalf.

For example, at a wedding I ran in July 2024, an evening guest arrived early after misreading the invitation. I discreetly checked with the couple—“Would you like him to stay?”—and when they said yes, I quietly reorganised a table, added cutlery and glassware, and ensured the caterers were informed. Within minutes, the issue was resolved and no one noticed a thing.


2. Venues with an In‑House Wedding Co‑ordinator

Some venues provide their own Co‑ordinator as part of the package. Their role is to look after the venue itself—timings, logistics, and anything relating to the building, staff and your guests.
